I think that rather than do a class-action suit --which would take time to get results-- we consider citizen action...
a "take-back-our-streets" kind, orchestrated with media coverage. We would need to have a fact-sheet 
prepared beforehand with the accident statistics, the fact that Benvenue is the only non-blocked street between
Alcatraz and Dwight, etc...   Our action could consider massing a bunch of us at the intersection to stop 
all traffic, or simply putting a bunch of trash cans out + people behind them... maybe some effigies of people
hurt in accidents, etc...
